Teeth Whitening
What is Teeth Whitening?
Professional in-office whitening helps to remove years of stains and discoloration from your teeth. Whether you drink a lot of coffee, tea or soda or if you’re a smoker, your teeth will yellow and dull over time. Even just the act of aging can cause your teeth to become dulled, requiring the need for whitening treatment. In-office whitening offers far superior results than anything you’d find in a local drugstore.
Why would Teeth Whitening be needed?
You may want to whiten your teeth because you’re embarrassed by your smile and are ready for a change. Others choose to whiten their teeth because they have a wedding, class reunion or graduation coming up and want to look their best. Whitening can be beneficial in removing stains, discoloration and yellowing that has caused your smile to dull. In-office options offer better results with less sensitivity involved.
What Teeth Whitening options are available?
We offer three different types of whitening options in our office. The first option is known as Zoom! and this system uses a specialized gel and warm light to whiten teeth. Our 20 Minute Whitening option is ideal for patients who quickly want results without waiting an hour to notice a difference. LaserSmile is yet another option we offer that uses a special whitening gel and lighting system to create a brilliant smile in about an hour.
What can you expect with professional Teeth Whitening?
First, we’ll have you come in for an exam and consultation. This allows us to discuss the whitening options we have for you and which one will suit your needs the best. We then recommend scheduling an appointment for the actual treatment. For the majority of our whitening systems, you can expect to be in the office for about an hour. We take a shade match both before and after treatment so that you can see how much lighter your teeth are. Maintaining your new whiter results is easy, but it’s a good idea to avoid staining foods and beverages as much as possible.
If you would like to whiten your teeth and transform your smile, call us today and we’ll be happy to schedule an appointment for you.
